Sasaki-san,

I am sure your schedule is quite busy, but I wanted to try and touch base with you and discuss the current situation of New Plant Project.
If you have time to meet tomorrow (Thursday Dec 18th), I can make sure to be where ever you are.
My plan is to be in Shinjuku branch, but my location is flexible.
I am also available on Friday, but have meetings with Tanaka-san in the late morning at Yokohama branch.
I will be out of the country (in India) Dec 20th – Jan 7th.

Sorry for the last minute request…

Sincerely,
Matt

・I’m sure…

I wanted to try and touch base with you …

Sorry for the last minutes request…

Hi Christophe,

I don’t think it’s necessary that you support these meetings with the customer at this time. If anything tangible evolves then certainly we need to get you introduced and involved in future meetings. I do need a comprehensive update on all activities related to three major projects. Can you have the team provide an executive summary of business status including:
– Current financial outlook FY2009 vs FY2008
– Open issues
– New programs being quoted (scale, timing, actions requires to close)

Thanks,
John

・get you introduced and involved … getのひとつの使い方でいわゆる使役動詞の使い方です。この後に have the team provide …

・I do need…
